b"I N T R O D U C T I O NNGS Cancer PanelsCytogenetic identification of chromosome abnormalities has become essential for the clinical management of patients with leukemia, and it is currently used to help classify patients into risk groups. With the development of novel genomics technologies, such as Next-Generation Sequencing, numerous new mutations and gene expression signatures have been identified. These breakthroughs allow us to better understand the molecular heterogeneity of hematologic diseases and to better stratify and assess risk for cancer patients. Using these molecular tools, it has become evident that leukemias, lymphomas, and hematologic diseases are characterized by a remarkable amount of genetic heterogeneity, with individual patients presenting distinct and almost unique combinations of chromosome changes and somatically-acquired gene mutations.LabPMM offers comprehensive NGS gene panels for AML and other hematological malignancies. Our MyAML cancer panel is designed to analyze and interpret sequence information in genes known or suspected to be involved in AML and other hematologic diseases. This comprehensive assay is capable of detecting single nucleotide substitutions, insertions, deletions, and gene rearrangements. Our MyMRD panel was designed to sensitively capture all classes of variants identifiedin a precisely defined set of targets that commonly drive myeloid malignancies including AML, MPN, and MDS .Our MyAML and MyMRD cancer panels are aimed at promoting a broader understanding of patients' clinical responses and outcomes.
