PRODUCT UPDATES:  
Reagent Storage Conditions & Catalog Number Change

Dear Valued Customer,

We would like to inform you of upcoming updates to our reagents, including research use only (RUO) master mixes and assay kits, as well as Analyte Specific Reagents (ASRs) and General Product Reagents (GPRs) that will be implemented over the coming months.

Updated Storage Conditions
New product storage conditions will be introduced to allow certain reagents to be stored at -15°C or colder.  This change provides greater flexibility in laboratory storage practices, enabling the use of both -20°C and -80°C storage conditions.

As new inventory is manufactured, product labels will be updated to reflect the revised storage requirements.  In addition, the Instructions for Use (IFUs) will be updated to instruct users to verify the storage temperature indicated on each reagent (tube) or kit label; additional details are provided in Table 1.0 for impacted assay kits, Table 2.0 for impacted master mixes and GPRs, and Table 3.0 for ASRs.

Always confirm and follow the storage temperature and expiration dating specified on the product label.

Catalog Number Update 
In addition, the Specimen Control Size Ladder – 6FAM master mix will transition to a new catalog number as new inventory becomes available:

  • New Catalog No.: 2100008 
  • Previous Catalog No.: 20960021 

Updated IFUs will reference both catalog numbers during this transition period.  This change applies to RUO assay kits and the Specimen Control Size Ladder – 6FAM master mix.
